About the Journal

Jurnal USM Law Review (JULR) is an open-access, double-masked, peer-reviewed law journal published by Magister Hukum Universitas Semarang. Jurnal USM Law Review (JULR), has adopted a quarterly publication schedule, with issues published in March, June, September, December (since Volume 9 2026), has been indexed SINTA 3 (Accredited by the Directorate General of Research and Development of the Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia Number 79/E/ KPT/2023). It primarily aims to facilitate scholarly and professional discussions of current legal developments in Indonesia and to publish innovative legal research on Indonesian laws and the legal system. The focus and scope of this journal encompass legal problems in Criminal Law, Civil Law, Constitutional Law, International Law, Administrative Law, Islamic Law, Business Law, Medical Law, Environmental Law, Adat Law, Agrarian Law, and Legal Philosophy. Registered as a member of the Crossref system with Digital Object Identifier (DOI) prefix 10.26623. All articles will have a DOI number.
