Peer Review Process

The editor will review the submitted manuscript to determine whether it complies with the submission guidelines of Semarang Law Review (SLR). Manuscripts that conform to the journal’s style and scope will be forwarded for peer review. SLR is a double-blind, peer-reviewed journal that involves multiple expert reviewers in relevant fields of law. The final decision regarding the acceptance of a manuscript rests entirely with the editor, taking into account the reviewers’ comments.

Plagiarism and self-plagiarism are strictly prohibited. Semarang Law Review (SLR) uses Turnitin to screen submitted manuscripts for plagiarism. Similarity detection and overlap analysis are applied; therefore, proper citation must be used whenever necessary.
