  • Publisher & Managing Unit: The journal is published and managed by the Department of Information Technology, Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Universitas Semarang (FTIK USM).

2. Governance Structure and Editorial Independence

Jurnal Transformatika maintains a clear organizational distinction between journal ownership/administration and editorial decision-making to guarantee scholarly objectivity and integrity:

  1. Role of the Publisher (FTIK USM): The Faculty of Information and Communication Technology (FTIK USM) provides institutional, administrative, technical, and financial support for journal operations, hosting infrastructure, and long-term digital preservation.
  2. Editorial Independence: The Publisher, University leadership, and commercial/financial interests exert no influence over editorial decisions. All decisions regarding manuscript desk screening, peer review assignments, revisions, acceptance, or rejection are under the sole authority of the Editor-in-Chief and the independent Editorial Board.

3. Financial and Business Model

  • Publication Fees: To ensure universal open-access availability, Jurnal Transformatika maintains transparent fee policies as outlined on our Article Processing Charge (APC) page. Financial transactions or fee collection procedures do not impact editorial decisions or review timelines.

4. Operational Infrastructure & Service Providers

To ensure publication quality, persistent tracking, and global accessibility, Jurnal Transformatika utilizes verified external services under formal institutional arrangements:
