About the Journal

Jurnal TRANSFORMATIKA is a peer-reviewed journal in Indonesian and English published two issues per year (January and July). The aim of Transformatika is to publish high-quality articles on the latest developments in the field of Information Technology. Transformatika particularly focuses on intelligent systems and informatics. It covers the Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning; Data Mining, Analytics, and Knowledge Discovery; Natural Language Processing, Information Retrieval, and Recommender Systems; Computer Vision & Image Processing; Decision Support Systems & Intelligent Applications; Software Engineering (Web/Mobile), HCI, and Information Systems; IoT/Embedded Intelligent Systems, Edge Intelligence, and Smart Connected Systems; Cybersecurity, Network Systems, and Trustworthy Computing; Cloud Computing, Quantum Computing, and Blockchain

Peer Review Process

All submitted manuscripts will be peer-reviewed by at least two independent experts in the field. The initial review phase typically requires a minimum of four weeks. While the editorial board facilitates and monitors the progress of the review to ensure quality and timeliness, the integrity of the independent peer-review process is strictly maintained. Please note that while reviewer recommendations are critical, the final editorial decision regarding acceptance, revision, or rejection rests solely with the Editor-in-Chief or Managing Editor.

Publication Frequency

Jurnal Transformatika published twice a year, in January and July.

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

Journal History

TRANSFORMATIKA Journal was first published in 2004. In the same year, we have a P-ISSN number. We consistently published in January and July each year.

In 2012, we developed cooperation with several universities / educational institutions in Semarang, which aims to improve the quality of the article. In addition, we expect the number of authors who put the article into Transformatika can be increased and is not limited to the Universitas Semarang.

In 2015, we had an E-ISSN number. This year we are improving the quality to reach national accreditation. We also added the number of reviewers and defined the focus and scope. We expect more quality articles to be published and can help the development of Information Technology.

Regarding the cover of Transformatika, we have made changes to the cover of Transformatika three times. Initially on Vol 13, No 2 (2016): January 2016 with a yellow background, then there was a cover change in Vol 14, No 1 (2016): July 2016, and finally the cover change on Vol 15, No 1 (2017): July 2017.
