Manuscript Type
Journal Ius Constituendum (JIC) exclusively accepts research articles that contribute to the development of legal scholarship, legal theory, legal practice, and legal policy. All submissions must present original research, demonstrate academic rigor, and fall within the scope of the journal.
Research Articles
Research articles present original research findings based on systematic investigation, critical analysis, and scholarly interpretation of legal issues. Each manuscript is expected to provide a clear and meaningful contribution to the development of legal knowledge, legal doctrine, legal practice, or law reform.
Research articles may employ normative juridical, doctrinal, comparative, socio-legal, empirical, or other appropriate research methods, depending on the research questions and objectives. The methodology must be clearly explained and appropriate to the legal issues being examined.
Manuscripts should identify a specific research problem, explain the relevant legal and scholarly context, describe the research method, present and critically discuss the findings, and formulate conclusions that directly address the research objectives. The analysis must go beyond merely describing legislation, court decisions, or existing literature and should demonstrate the author's own scholarly reasoning and contribution.
A research article should generally contain the following sections, in accordance with the JIC Author Guidelines and official manuscript template:
- Title
- Author names and institutional affiliations
- Abstract
- Keywords
- Introduction
- Research Method
- Results and Discussion
- Conclusion
- Acknowledgements, where applicable
- References
General Requirements
All research articles submitted to JIC must be written in English, constitute original scholarly work, and comply with the journal's Author Guidelines, official manuscript template, citation style, and publication ethics policies. Manuscripts must meet the journal's minimum word count and formatting requirements and must not be under simultaneous consideration by another journal.
All submissions are subject to initial editorial screening and the journal's applicable peer-review process. Submission as a research article does not guarantee acceptance or publication. The final decision rests with the editorial team in accordance with the journal's editorial standards and publication policies.
Exclusive Manuscript Type
Journal Ius Constituendum accepts research articles only. Review papers, case studies, and correspondence to the editors are not accepted as separate manuscript types.
