Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement
Humani (Hukum dan Masyarakat Madani) is a peer-reviewed national academic journal committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics. This statement outlines the ethical responsibilities of all parties involved in the publication process, including Authors, Editor-in-Chief, Section Editors, Reviewers, and the Publisher (Faculty of Law, Universitas Semarang).
This publication ethics statement is formulated in accordance with the principles of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and internationally recognized standards of scholarly publishing.
A. Publication Ethics Principles

Peer Review Process: All submitted manuscripts undergo a rigorous peer-review process to ensure quality, validity, and scientific contribution.

Publication Decisions: Decisions are based on scholarly merit, originality, clarity, relevance to the journal’s scope, and compliance with legal requirements.

B. Duties of Reviewers
