Author Guidelines

A. GUIDELINES FOR WRITING MANUSCRIPT

1. Manuscripts written in Indonesian must adhere to proper grammar rules. If accepted for publication, the manuscript will be translated into English.
2. The manuscript is written in MS Word format with A4 page size (210 x 297 mm), single-column with the simplest possible text layout. It is recommended to only use the writing facilities provided in MS Word (bold, italics, subsripct, superscript, equation, etc.). Please download and use as article template for initial manuscript submission.
3. The length of scientific manuscripts should range from 7000 words or about 15-20 pages, including pictures, graphs and tables (if any) accompanying them.
4. ZOTERO or MENDELEY with APA style is recommended for reference Management.
5. The manuscript must be original and has not been previously published neither submitted to another journal for consideration evidenced by the Authors Statement of Originality. Download Authors' Statement of Originality. 
6. The manuscript must be conformed to the rules on the use of punctuation and spelling contained within the guidelines of Indonesian Language Spelling.
7. The script must be uploaded through the Open Journal System (OJS).

B. STRUCTURE OF CONTENT AND SYSTEMATICS OF MANUSCRIPTS 

The contents and systematic writing of the manuscript are narrated using the essay format in paragraph form, and do not use detailed systematic systematic such as thesis / thesis / dissertation (without numbering in front of subtitles) and must contain the following components:

1. Title
   The title should be concise and straightforward to describe the contents of the writing. May use a title that is creative and interesting to the reader (maximum 14 words). The research location is described in the method section, not mentioned in the title.
2. Author's name
   Write the full name of the writer without a title, the institution where the writer works / study, and the author's e-mail address.
3. Abstract
   Written in English and in Indonesian. Typed in one space, a maximum of 150 words includes, among others: hypotheses, research subjects, methods, and results.
4. Keywords
   The main words in the study, can be drawn from the research variables, characteristics of the research subject, and the theory referred to (minimum three words or a combination of words, written in alphabetical order).
5. Introduction
   Describe the background of the problem, the aims and benefits of research, theoretical studies, and conclude with a hypothesis (max. 20%). Contain; (a) exposure to the latest developments in the field of science studied whose arguments are supported by the results of primary and current literature studies; (b) exposure to gaps; (c) the researcher's argument in closing the gap as a promise of research contributions to the development of science; and (d) presentation of research objectives.
6. Methods
   Contains identification of variables, research participants (please write down that participants have signed an Informed Consent or statement that the research has met research ethics), research instruments, and research methods including statistical analysis techniques used (maximum number of pages 20%). Contains a description of everything that was done by the researcher in conducting the research clearly as if to provide opportunities for other researchers to replicate or verify the research. Avoid definitions quoted from the book.
7. Results
   The results of the study consisted of descriptive statistics, the results of the assumption test, and the results of the hypothesis test then were critically analyzed (max. 20%) presented in a sequential or integrated manner. Exposure to the results section contains the results of data analysis. If there is a table / chart / picture that contains a description of the results of the analysis that is already meaningful and easily understood its meaning quickly. Tables / charts / figures do not contain raw data that can still be or must be processed.
8. Discussion
   An explanation of the results of the study, linked to the results of previous studies, was critically analyzed and linked to the relevant current literature (number of pages max. 30-40%). Exposure to the discussion section contains giving meaning substantially to the results of the analysis and comparison with previous findings based on the results of relevant literature reviews, current and primary. The comparison should lead to differences with previous research findings so that it has the potential to state a contribution to the development of science. The discussion ended with the formulation of conclusions and suggestions.
9. Conclusion
   The contents of the conclusions are answers to the research objectives not summaries of research results. Conclusions and recommendations are concise, clear and concise based on the results and discussion (max. 1 page), made in the form of paragraphs (not numeric), contains research findings as a synthesis between the results of data analysis and the results of the discussion, and further emphasizes the things new ones that contributed to the development of the science of psychology.
10. Literature
    Write a bibliography which is an alphabetical and chronological reference. Bibliography is a Reference List (Reference) not a Bibliography, so it must contain all sources referred to in the Manuscript, and does not need to contain sources that are not referenced. The reference list contains everything referenced in the text from the source which; (a) relevant, (b) at least 80% up to date (last 10 years), and (c) at least 80% primary, mainly from journal Manuscripts.

C. REGISTRATION and ARTICLE SUBMISSION GUIDE

Registration starts by clicking the REGISTER menu, if already registered, can simply LOGIN and begin the five-step process. 

Steps for Submitting Manuscripts

1. Authors should register and check the author column on the registration page.
2. After logging in, click New Submission. The stages of article submission are as follows:

• In the Start section, complete all the checklists, then click save and continue.
• In the Upload Submission section, upload the article manuscript file in MS Word format. Then click save and continue.
• In the Enter Metadata section, enter the data of all the authors and affiliates. If there is more than one author, click add author, then fill in their data the same way as the first author, and so on. Next, fill in the title, abstract, keywords, research methods, and bibliography in each available column.
• In the Upload Supplementary Files section, it is permissible to upload supporting files, cover letters, author's contributions statements, ethical clearance statements, or other documents.
• In the Confirmation section, click Finish Submission if all the data are correct.

D. ARTICLE REVISION PROCESS

Article Status

After the submission process is complete, you can see the status of your writing.

1. The status of Awaiting Assignment means your article has not been reviewed.
2. The status of In Review means that your article is in the process of review, the Editor will send a confirmation email regarding the results of the review to you. To see the results of a review from a Reviewer, click In Review.
3. The status of In Review Round x means that your article has entered the x review stage, meaning that it is a review of round 2, 3, 4 ... ... and so on.
4. The status of In Editing means that your article has been revised and entered the editing process and will be published.
5. Status  Vol. x, No. x (Year) means that your article has been published in Vol. x, No. x (Year).
6. The status of Archived means your article is rejected.

Editor's Decision

You can see the Editor's decision on your article in the Editor Decision section. There are several decisions that may be given by the Editor, namely

1. Accept Submission (articles received, and articles need not be revised),
2. Revisions Required (the article needs to be revised, but will not be reviewed again),
3. Resubmit for Review (the article needs to be revised and will be reviewed again), 
4. Decline Submission (article rejected).
