SISTEM PEMANTAUAN PERGERAKAN GAJAH BERBASIS GEOFENCE MENGGUNAKAN TEKNOLOGI LORA

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sistem pemantauan pergerakan gajah yang mampu mengirimkan data dari gateway ke server menggunakan protokol MQTT, serta menampilkan informasi secara real-time melalui dashboard berbasis web. Sistem ini dirancang untuk mendukung proses pemantauan jarak jauh dengan latensi rendah dan jangkauan komunikasi yang luas. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata waktu pengiriman data dari gateway ke server melalui protokol MQTT adalah 1.44 ms, sedangkan rata-rata waktu pengiriman notifikasi ke pengguna adalah 0.89 detik. Sistem mampu beroperasi hingga 1 km dengan nilai RSSI sebesar -105 dB, yang menandakan komunikasi masih stabil pada jarak tersebut. Selain itu, dashboard yang dikembangkan berhasil dideploy secara online, memungkinkan pengguna untuk memantau data sensor dan status perangkat secara real-time melalui antarmuka yang interaktif dan mudah digunakan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa sistem yang dikembangkan memiliki kinerja komunikasi yang efisien, latensi rendah, dan kemudahan pemantauan, sehingga berpotensi diterapkan pada berbagai aplikasi IoT berbasis pemantauan jarak jauh.
