Focus and Scope
[Jurnal The Messenger] is an International Scientific Journal published by the Department of Communication, Faculty of Information Technology and Communication, Universitas Semarang. Articles published are the results of research done on communication field, bringing the new sights on Cultural Studies, Integrated Marketing Communication, and Media. Starting from 2021, [Jurnal The Messenger] will publish three times (Regular Issues) a year (January-April, May-August, and September-December).
[Jurnal The Messenger] is the first communication journal in Indonesia indexed in the Web of Science database.
[Jurnal The Messenger] has been included in Journal Citation Reports 2021 from Clarivate Analytics Web of Science, with Journal Citation Indicator (JCI) 2020 as 31.64 (JCI Percentile), 142/207 (JCI Rank, Category: Communication), in Q3 of JCI Quartile; and also Journal Impact Factor (JIF) Without Self Cites as 0.122 that available at: https://jcr.clarivate.com/jcr/browse-journals
