INTERAKSI SOSIAL ANTARA PSK DENGAN MASYARAKAT STUDI KASUS LOKALISASI GAMBILANGU SEMARANG

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the social interactions between prostitutes in the Gambilangu Semarang localization and the surrounding community. This research uses a qualitative approach to understand the phenomena experienced by the subjects in this research. There were 9 informants in this study, consisting of 3 prostitutes, 2 pimps, and 4 informants, namely local residents. The results of the research show that the relationship between prostitutes and the surrounding community is conducive and there is minimal conflict. The activities of prostitutes and residents run according to their respective roles and portions. However, in this case, local village officials need to carry out activities that build cooperation between prostitutes and the community. This activity can be formed by providing skills so that in the future prostitutes who are no longer working can be more independent
