Abstract
Financial literacy remains a critical challenge among non-formal education learners, especially those enrolled in the Package C equivalency program (equivalent to senior high school level). Many of these students come from economically vulnerable households and lack sufficient exposure to personal finance management and higher education cost planning. This community service activity, titled FINEDU-PACK: Financial Education Package and College Cost Simulation for Package C School Students, was conducted on April 21, 2026, at SKB Kendal, Jl. Cepiring Gemuk Kav. I No. 1, Kendal Regency, Central Java, involving 52 active students. The program employed participatory learning methods encompassing interactive lectures, thematic group discussions, and hands-on college cost simulation exercises. Post-activity evaluations revealed overall mean scores above 4.0 on a 5-point Likert scale across all assessed dimensions, with the highest score recorded for program relevance to daily life (4.7) and student motivation to pursue higher education (4.5). The FINEDU-PACK program demonstrates that structured, contextual, and participatory financial education interventions can meaningfully enhance the financial literacy and college-planning readiness of non-formal education students, thereby contributing to more informed and empowered economic decision-making among underserved youth communities.
