Perencanaan Flyover Persimpangan Jalan Kereta dengan Ruas Jalan Raya Gubug - Kedungjati

Gubug District is one of the centers of activity in the Grobogan area because the area is densely populated so the traffic density has an impact on the local community, such as disruption of comfort and safety caused by traffic conditions in the local area. Traffic congestion itself is a state of traffic flow exceeding the predetermined road capacity and causing a decrease in road performance, so that vehicle speeds are close to 0 km/h, therefore it can cause queues of vehicles, such as severe congestion, reckless drivers breaking through railway bars, and many other violations. The Gubug – Kedungjati Road section is an area prone to congestion because there is a highway that intersects with a railway crossing in Kuwaron Village, the intersection is a level intersection. Connecting Grobogan City with Salatiga City. Therefore, flyover planning is carried out, in addition to the need to widen the flyover road later to maximize the performance of the previous highway. The flyover construction plan also aims to maximize traffic flow performance and avoid traffic accidents. In the planning of this flyover, the loading was carried out by the Guidelines for the Loading of Bridges and Highways (Public Works Departement, 1987). This flyover is planned with an undivided two-lane road type (2/2 UD), divided into two lanes, namely from the direction of Jalan Gubug to Jalan Kedungjati and the direction of Jalan Kedungjati to Jalan Gubug with a width of 3.5 meters for each lane. This flyover is planned to be 338.94 meters long; and 9.5 meters wide, and the height of this flyover is planned to be 9 meters high from the ground level to the girder. This flyover road is planned to be used for the next 15 years and can still be crossed by heavy vehicles (HV).
