Abstract

This research aims to understand the communication behavior of high school students who engage in promiscuous premarital sex. The method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive method. The theory used is the behavioral theory created by Gage and Berliner which is used as a basis for analyzing the communication behavior of high school students who engage in promiscuous premarital sex. The research results show that this phenomenon occurs due to a lack of knowledge about casual sexual relations and its impact on the future among teenagers. Social media has a role not only as sex education, but on the other hand it also supports teenagers' access to information about sex and practicing it without parental control and supervision.
