MANAJEMEN KOMUNIKASI IDENTITAS DIRI SEORANG PEKERJA SEKS DI LINGKUNGANNYA

Abstract

This research aims to determine the Communication Management carried out by a sex worker in her work environment and the social environment of the community. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The theory used in this research is Erving Goffman's Dramaturgical theory. The research results show that communication management carried out by a sex worker with his environment is carried out using front stage, back stage and expressive equipment. The front stage is shown professionally when working, while the back stage shows its true identity, in this case through a cheerful, quiet and overthinking character. Meanwhile, expressive equipment is carried out using relationships with society, media and clothing styles.
