Abstract

This research aims to find out and reveal the behavior of teenagers who work as LCs in night entertainment and to know and understand the self-concept of teenagers who work as LCs in night entertainment. The theory used in this research is the Johari Window Self-Disclosure. The research method used is descriptive qualitative using case studies. This research uses primary and secondary data collection techniques through the stages of observation, in-depth interviews and literature study. The results of the research show that the world of nightlife is no longer taboo within the scope of the research object, apart from that it was found that there was a positive form of self-concept from the informants, where this illustrates a contradiction with the self-concept theory put forward by William D. Brooks and Philip Emnert which states that a positive self-concept will be reflected in positive thought patterns and behavior and this influences informants communicating in the general public.
