Mengukur Kontribusi Kepedulian Masyarakat Dalam Restorasi Vegetasi DAS (Study Kasus: DAS Garang)

Eksistensi DAS sebagai wilayah pelindung kebencanaan sangat penting dan hal itu terkait dengan eksistensi vegetasinya. Penelitian terdahulu tentang peran vegetasi DAS dalam menyokong resiliensi kawasan telah banyak dilakukan, namun pendalaman penelitian yang menghubungkan hal tersebut dalam bentuk aksi nyata restorasi lingkungan masih belum banyak dilakukan. Penelitian ini melakukan pengujian peran masyarakat dalam bentuk bobot kontribusi terhadap tindakan merestorasi vegetasi DAS dengan studi kasus di wilayah DAS Garang. Metode yang digunakan adalah melakukan kuantifikasi nilai kepedulian masyarakat dalam menanam dan merawat vegetasi dan mengukur korelasinya dengan indeks vegetasi dari interpretasi citra satelit pada musim kemarau dan musim penghujan. Pengukuran bobot kontribusi peran masyarakat diukur dari interpretasi statistikal secara spatial maupun non-spatial. Hasil pengukuran menunjukkan bahwa kepedulian masyarakat DAS Garang dalam menjaga vegetasi berpola menyebar atau disperse. Kontribusi kepedulian dalam bervegetasi menunjukkan bobot pengaruh 22,65% dengan ketergantungan kepada peran institusi sebesar 35%.
