Penggunaan Metode Soybean Crude Urease Calcite Precipitation (SCU-CP) dalam Meningkatkan Kuat Tekan Tanah Lempung Berpasir

Kualitas tanah dasar, terutama jenis tanah lempung berpasir yang memiliki daya dukung lemah. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas metode Soybean Crude Urease Calcite Precipitation (SCU-CP) dalam meningkatkan kekuatan tanah tersebut, dengan fokus pada pengujian kuat tekan bebas (qu) berdasarkan SNI 3638:2012. Sampel tanah dikumpulkan dari wilayah Jl. Vico Indonesia, Muara Badak, Kalimantan Timur. Metode SCU-CP dilakukan dengan mencampurkan larutan urea dan kalsium klorida (CaCl₂) pada konsentrasi 1 mol/L dan 1,5 mol/L, serta soybean powder dengan konsentrasi bervariasi antara 10 hingga 50 g/L. Setelah dilakukan pencampuran dan proses curing selama 7 hari, sampel diuji di laboratorium. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa metode SCU-CP secara signifikan meningkatkan sifat mekanik tanah. Nilai qu tanah asli sebesar 3,47 kg/cm² meningkat hingga 5,07 kg/cm² (kenaikan 48,78%) pada campuran reagen 1 mol/L dengan soybean 50 g/L, serta 4,42 kg/cm² (kenaikan 29,24%) pada campuran reagen 1,5 mol/L dengan soybean 40 g/L. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa metode SCU-CP berpotensi sebagai alternatif stabilisasi tanah yang ramah lingkungan dan efektif.
