Pengaruh Kendaraan Over Dimension Over Loading (Odol) Terhadap Kecelakaan dan Kemacetan Lalu Lintas

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis karakteristik kendaraan Over Dimension Over Loading (ODOL) serta pengaruh jumlahnya terhadap kecelakaan dan kemacetan lalu lintas di ruas Jalan Tol Jakarta–Tangerang. Kendaraan ODOL merupakan isu krusial dalam transportasi darat karena dapat mengganggu kelancaran arus lalu lintas dan membahayakan keselamatan pengguna jalan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan analisis deskriptif, korelasi Pearson, dan regresi linier sederhana. Data dikumpulkan selama 100 hari observasi mencakup jumlah kendaraan ODOL, kecelakaan, kecepatan rata-rata, dan waktu tempuh kendaraan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kendaraan ODOL didominasi oleh truk berat yang mengalami pelanggaran overload maupun overdimensi, dengan rata-rata harian 628 kendaraan dan standar deviasi ±130,78. Jumlah ODOL tidak memiliki pengaruh signifikan secara statistik terhadap kecelakaan (r = 0,105; sig. = 0,300), tetapi tetap merupakan faktor risiko utama penyebab kecelakaan berdasarkan literatur dan substansi teknis. Sebaliknya, jumlah ODOL berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kemacetan, ditunjukkan oleh korelasi negatif terhadap kecepatan (r = –0,823; sig. = 0,000) dan korelasi positif terhadap waktu tempuh (r = 0,802; sig. = 0,000). Dengan demikian, kendaraan ODOL terbukti menurunkan efisiensi dan kinerja lalu lintas jalan tol. Diperlukan pengawasan dan kebijakan yang tegas untuk mengendalikan dampaknya.
