The Ramang-Ramang tourist area in Maros Regency, South
Sulawesi, has high community-based ecotourism potential through
its karst landscape and local cultural richness. However, micro,
small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in this region still face
various challenges, such as limited entrepreneurial literacy, access
to capital, and the use of digital technology. This community
service activity aims to empower MSMEs through entrepreneurship
training, business assistance, and strengthening digital-based
marketing strategies. The implementation method uses a
participatory approach based on the needs of partners, involving
25 MSME actors in the culinary, handicrafts, and tourism services
sectors for three months. The results of the activity showed an
increase in business management capacity, product quality, and
market access through social media and simple e-commerce
platforms. In addition, the Ramang-Ramang MSME forum was
formed as a forum for collaboration and strengthening business
networks. The impact of this activity not only increases the
competitiveness of MSMEs, but also strengthens their role in
supporting sustainable tourism. In the future, synergy is needed
between universities, local governments, and local communities to
maintain the sustainability of the program and expand its impact.
