Analisis Strategi, Tantangan, dan Peluang Dakwah melalui Podcast di Era Digital

This study aims to analyze the strategies, challenges, and opportunities of using podcasts as a medium for Islamic preaching. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach and content analysis method, the study examines several Islamic-themed podcasts. The findings reveal that effective dakwah strategies through podcasts include reflective narrative approaches, interactive dialogue formats, consistent scheduling and branding, and the use of multi-channel platforms. Despite their accessibility and broad audience reach, podcasts face several challenges, such as low digital literacy among preachers (da'i), limited technical resources, and the risk of disseminating non-authoritative content. Podcasts also offer significant opportunities: reaching a wider audience beyond geographical boundaries, fostering more personal and on-demand religious engagement, and supporting creative content innovation aligned with the preferences of younger generations." Optimizing dakwah through podcasts requires enhancing preachers’ technological competencies, promoting moderate Islamic narratives, and implementing professional and adaptive content management. Podcasts have proven to be a promising medium for bridging Islamic messages with the communicative style of the digital generation in a reflective and engaging manner.
