Analisis Pemberitaan Capres-Cawapres Prabowo-Gibran di Media Cetak Tribun Jateng: “Kampanye Perdana Mulai Hari Ini” Selama November 2023”

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the news coverage of the Tribun Jateng print media regarding the news "The First Campaign Starts Today" for November 2023. This study uses a qualitative method with Robert N. Entman's framing analysis. The results of the study show that the news "The First Campaign Starts Today" for the period of November 2023 in the Tribun Jateng print media contains framing elements including; 1) Highlighting the news for each candidate; 2) Imbalance of information presented; 3) Lack of 5W + H elements; and 4) Conformity between the content of the news and its title in general. The audience is often unaware that several extra media factors can influence media content, so the audience should remember that the reality in the media is not a reflection of the original reality.
