Registration and login are required to submit items online and to check the status of current submissions.

 

Author Guidelines

  1. Semarang Law Review (SLR) is  published two a year, ie in April, and October.
  2. Accommodates scientific work, both in the form of research results and literature review in the field of law and has never been published other journals, can be in Indonesian or English.
  3. Manuscript typed with 1.5 spaces, on HVS A4 paper,  Times New Roman  font 11  style  . Maximum script length of 15 pages, including abstract, table, and image, minimum 8 pages.
  4. Format for research results: title,  abstract /  abstract, introduction, research method, results and discussion, conclusions, and bibliography
  5. The title  , written in Indonesian with capital letters and in italics for foreign words.  The author's name is listed under the title without an academic degree and is mentioned by the institution, university / institute or other institution where the author works as well as the correspondence address.
  6. Abstract  .  One paragraph, written in Indonesian and English.  Word count no more than 200 words, underneath is written  keywords /  keywords no more than 5 words.
  7. Introduction  .  Includes background, problem formulation, objectives and benefits, library reviews and research hypotheses.  The literature review need not be hypothesized.
  8. The method of research  suggests the materials and methods used for the analysis of data coherently.
  9. Results and discussion are  made into one chapter.  Results can be presented in the form of tables, graphs, charts or pictures with reviews.  In the discussion should be seen causal relationships between variables, interpretation of results, and generalization of results.
  10. The conclusions are  presented in clear, easy-to-digest language and related to the purpose of the study.
  11. The bibliography  is listed alphabetically (name) and year is listed after the publisher's name without the serial number.  The name of the journal / magazine is abbreviated according to the abbreviation in effect.  The bibliography contains all the literature mentioned in the manuscript.

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
